Catalyst Conference started over a decade ago to train young leaders for effectiveness and lasting impact. They consistently bring in the top leaders in both the church world as well as the business arena to challenge others to make an impact in our culture and community.

I have been influenced by this conference through many years of attending both in Atlanta and now in Dallas. I’m so thankful to be able to soak in the wisdom and the heart of these mentors in ministry.

If you’ve never had the chance to be a part of Catalyst, I like to describe it as a youth ministry conference for adults because, along with the straight to the point talks, there’s plenty of crazy fun, as well as cutting edge music and arts.

This year’s conference took place May 1st-2nd at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship. The theme KNOWN was the most consistent theme they’ve ever used and had one of the biggest affects on me personally. Each speaker dealt with the foundational question: Who am I? HINT: It’s not what I do. What will I be KNOWN for? Our identity in Christ is the real issue because health requires us living out of the understanding of who we are and why we’re here.

All of my notes from the conference are available for free by clicking here. I encourage you to do more than just read them but to take some time to reflect on who you are in Christ and how you can begin to apply these truths to your life and ministry.
