For the first time in history, we live in a time where we can literally instantly send a message to anywhere in the world. These are exciting days, because we have been given the most powerful message in the world and we can spread that message to everyone, everywhere! That’s our passionĀ at The Connection Church. This week, we talked about our strategy to be Wired Witnesses and let people know what God is doing in our lives and what he can do for them too. You can watch this week’s message right here.
That message was given an exclamation point through the 4 baptisms we celebrated this week! Congrats to those who took the plunge and went public with their faith in Jesus. Our next baptism celebration will be happening on the weekend of our 10th Birthday party, October 19-20th. Go here to sign up or to find out more.
Connection Creative did a great job of leading us to worship God in spirit and truth! They brought us an inspired version of Everfound’s Take This City, all about the mission we are called to fulfill. You can hear the songs we sang on this Spotify playlist. I hope they will enhance your own personal time of worship.
Thanks to everyone who stepped up to serve this week by responding to the call and signing down your name on the banner. This is a season to have all hands on deck as we launch our 4th celebration service this coming weekend on Saturday nights at 5:30.
We also had a bittersweet moment at the close of our service, honoring Jennifer Martinez for her 6 years of faithful ministry with our little ones as Preschool Minister. She has done an excellent job and we are so thankful for her investment of time and her heart for God and people.
