This week the Soul Train started rolling down the tracks as we kicked off this soulful new series.

  • After the 9:00 Celebration, a woman who was a second time guest with us let me know that she had trusted her life to Christ at the close of the message! She said she was compelled to respond and was changed knowing that Jesus is her Lord and Savior!
  • We were glad to have Stephen Brewer, the Associate Director of the Austin Disaster Relief Network, with us. We’ll be co-hosting Orientation & Preparedness Training on November 12th at 6:30 at Plum Creek Church. Click here to register or for more information.
  • The party ramped up as the band pumped out Love Train by the O’Jays! Who knew you could have that much fun in church?
  • The message was about the way we can trust in God to relieve the weight that we sometimes feel in our souls. If you missed it, check it out here on our FREE mobile app.
  • We ended the day with the commissioning of our Go! Team for our mission trip to Guatemala this week. We made it safely to Cuilapa and have organized the supplies that we’ll be distributing tomorrow in Agua Zarca. You can read more about what happened today on Pastor Trey’s blog. Please pray for our team of 9 this week as we take the Gospel to this part of the world that is in such desperate need of God’s love.
